• Performance Warranty: 25-30 years linear power output warranty, guaranteeing that the panels will produce at least 80-84.8% of their rated power output after 25-30 years.

2.2 Inverters

• Standard Warranty: 5-10 years (depending on manufacturer) covering defects in materials and workmanship.

2.3 Batteries

3. Installation Warranty

ZakSolar provides the following warranties for our installation services:

3.1 Workmanship Warranty

• Coverage Period: 5 years from the date of installation completion.
• Coverage: This warranty covers defects in installation workmanship, including mounting, wiring, and system integration.
• Exclusions: This warranty does not cover issues arising from:
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Abuse, misuse, or neglect
  • Acts of nature (floods, lightning, earthquakes, etc.)
  • Modifications or repairs made by unauthorized personnel
  • Failure to follow maintenance guidelines

3.2 Roof Penetration Warranty

• Coverage Period: 10 years from the date of installation completion.
• Coverage: This warranty guarantees that roof penetrations made during the installation will remain watertight.
• Remedy: If a leak occurs due to our roof penetrations, ZakSolar will repair the leak at no cost to the customer.
• Exclusions: This warranty does not cover leaks arising from:
  • Pre-existing roof conditions
  • Damage to the roof not caused by ZakSolar
  • Acts of nature (floods, lightning, earthquakes, etc.)
  • Modifications made by unauthorized personnel

4. Warranty Claims Process

To make a warranty claim, please follow these steps:

1. Contact ZakSolar: Notify us of the issue by phone, email, or through our website.
2. Provide Information: Include your name, contact information, purchase/installation date, and a detailed description of the issue.
3. Documentation: Provide photographs of the issue when possible.

5. Warranty Transfers

ZakSolar installation warranties are transferable to subsequent property owners for the remainder of the warranty period, subject to the following conditions:

• The new owner must notify ZakSolar of the change in ownership within 30 days.
• A transfer fee may apply.
• Product warranties are transferable according to the manufacturer's warranty terms.

6. Maintenance Requirements

To maintain warranty coverage, customers must:

• Not modify the system without ZakSolar's written approval.

7. Limitations and Disclaimers

The warranties provided by ZakSolar are limited to the terms stated in this policy and the specific product warranty documentation. ZakSolar makes no other warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

ZakSolar's liability is limited to repair or replacement of defective products or installation. ZakSolar is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of energy production, loss of profits, or replacement energy costs.
